Isobelle Gregory
Watercolours of the North East and driftwood mirrors
"I live 20 yards from the sea on the Moray Firth Coast where I get most of my inspiration from.
"I paint mainly in watercolour but occasionally turn to acrylics and encaustic techniques as well as textiles. I also make driftwood mirrors and sea glass. My subjects are the coast and its people."

Fiona Ducket
Wall mounted luster glazed ceramics
"I have always been creative, making things from a very early age, but just over ten years ago I was 'hooked' by the magic of clay. Since that first touch I have worked in two pottery workshops for other people, completed a BDes(Hons) in Ceramics and a MA in Fine Art and Design, again specialising in ceramics. What can be achieved with a lump of clay never fails to amaze and fascinate me."

Alice Shannon
Quirky mixed media collages
Alice Shannon is based in Fife and graduated in Drawing and Painting from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in her hometown of Dundee in 1990. Mixed media artwork is a term used when several mediums overlap and many different materials and methods constitute one piece. Alice uses her fine art skills in building layers of impasto and glazes. Then surface is built with paper collage, fabrics, sequins and a multitude of miniscule embellishments, all secured with a PVA concentrate and sealed in with spray varnish. This gradual and labour intensive method gives the work a textured and bejewelled look. this exhibition gives Alice the opportunity to show work outside the usual venues of Edinburgh and Glasgow and bring her eclectic world of textures and sparkle to a wider audience.
